LOST BUT FOUND SAFE:  This 12 minute, professionally produced National Park Ranger’s video is designed to show children, ages 4-12, what to do if they become lost in remote areas such as parks or forests.   It follows the actions and thinking of 7-year-old Kelly, who sets out on a long-awaited hike on a beautiful day in the woods with her parents and brothers. She runs ahead, gets separated from the rest of the family and becomes lost.
HUG-A-TREE :  This is a slide program to teach children how to survive when they are lost in the woods. It is a seven point slide program which includes what to do when lost, what will your parents think, how to make yourself seen, what about animals and more.
After either program we follow up with additional information and tips on what to and not to do when lost.
ADULT PROGRAM:Â Â We can provide a program for teenagers or adults on the Search and Rescue program in Grays Harbor; how to prepare for an emergency in the woods and what to do when lost.
